The Murder of a Boy

So that momentous day arrived when her son would be breathing his last, picking up a mango , the mango farmer got cautious of this and shot the handgun to warn him, only to fire him in the head. The author doesn't say why or what cause the boy picked up the mango for, so it is clear to doubt whether he did it for the good or to just steal it. Nevertheless the community, for the reason that of their close bond with Inez were annoyed and wanted to "tear the doer limb from limb", the mango planter knew this and "fled, never meaning to return". Inez, being a religious and strong willed human being knew that the farmer's day would soon come too.
